From Mind, from Heart, from Being

Sometimes when we start seeing, we stop seeing.

To begin with the conscious perception of the subtle, the not merely material, implies a sharpening not only of the senses, but also of feeling.

The capacity for clairvoyance, clairvaudience, clairsensitivity, as well as channeling and receiving information from the most subtle planes are skills that we all possess, but remain dormant, until our consciousness evolves enough to open up to this “expanded reality”; understanding by reality what one can share with another and expanded, because not everyone allowes oneself such openness. There are those who cling to the material because of ignorance, but there are those who cling because of the unknown.

And it is that initiating a process of rediscovery of reality from a more sensitive perspective involves valuable internal changes, which can be experienced as releases or as losses, this depends exclusively on how identified we feel with the way in which we have interpreted ourselves so far.

It is necessary to understand that all experience is subjective, insofar as once embodied, each one starts from his own and particular mechanisms to understand, conceive and interpret reality, whatever the rank of Reality that one admits as "true".

In the first hyper-perceptual moments it is essential to distinguish when we live from the Mind, from the Heart or from the Being. These are the three elements from which we have the experience of Living: from what we think, from the feelings we go through or from the deep feeling of the Soul.

How do I know I live from Mind?

Because everything that happens causes me an internal question or a need to give an imminent answer to catalog or conclude the situation, even without being aware that the question has been generated for me. Living from Mind gives us a false sense of control.

How do I know I live from Heart?

Because the emotional intensity, whether expressed or repressed, completely permeates - or almost - everything I am experiencing, from how I see a certain situation, to the internal or external decisions I make about it. Living from Heart gives us a false sense of passivity, emotions overwhelm us and prevail.

Living from both Mind or Heart often brings us closer to discourses that deny our responsibility for what we live. I provide some examples of attitudes to illustrate this perspective: things are like this, life is as it is, it is destiny, it is (pre)determined, everything is written, I can't do anything about it, it can't be otherwise,...

How do I know that I live from Being?

Because I enter a state of neutrality - not passivity - that floods everything, I can observe both thoughts and feelings without judgment. Realize that when I feel the inner judgment who judges is the Mind. Realize that the one who feels bad about a circumstance is the Heart. When living from Being, Mind and Heart are in balance and Being can observe them from Consciousness.

From Being you can recognize the intensity of both thought and emotion, but without feeling identified with it, you realize that there is a distance between that intensity and who you are, so you can recognize that: (1 ) you are always free to choose where you live, (2) everything that happens is relative and (3) nothing that happens really affects you, everything is transient in experience.

Therefore, living from Being brings us closer to accepting and taking responsibility for the Life we live.

When we realize that what we are living is not how we are perceiving it, but it simply Is and that we are the ones who decide how we experience it, the openness to realities not tinged with emotions and thoughts is more harmonious. However, keep in mind that to see more is to remember more, but never to Know more. Everyone has the knowledge within them, the only difference is that some have discovered and explored it, others have sensed it and others do not even know that it accompanies them. The degree of ignorance does not make some less part of Knowledge than others.

In the same way, we must remember that the experience on Earth is an experience of learning and evolution, therefore all knowledge that is shown to us deserves the maximum Respect and Gratitude, for the approach that it offers us to the Love that we are and we have forgotten.

When we start to see, we stop seeing, because when we see more we believe that we own everything and it is this ego disguised as Celebration and Praise to Life that prevents us from continuing to advance in Growth.

Humility, born of deep Honesty, is the key to consolidating everything we feel we Learn. Being humble always involves a gesture inside, realizing that if we are Remembering So Much it is because we have Forgotten A Lot and that as humans we can recognize only a part of the Whole, because the Way itself is what really matters in this life, more than the Destiny from which We depart and to which we are inevitably Returning.

For me, Knowing More means Remembering Less: the more I know through experiences, the more I realize I have a lot left to Remember. The wider the view, the farther away the horizon is. The deeper the experience, the longer the journey.

The ultimate Will of Spiritual Growth does not lie in possessing a Great Knowledge, but in Knowing Us to Know What We Ignore, thus living accordingly and responsibly from this humble conscience.

Only by accepting and taking our status as ignorant with Love we will become wise and we can return to what We Are.

PROPOSAL: Where do I live from?

Choose a situation each day and see where you live it from.

If you want more intense work, apply the practice 3 to 5 times a day.

To do a deeper job, when a situation that causes you pain (be it anger, sadness, insecurity, or any other low-frequency emotion) arises, observe where you live it from.

BENEFITS

  • The Simple Gesture of looking inside and seeking to recognize the elements involved in the situation (facts, thoughts, feelings) will make you experience it differently, even if the thoughts or feelings are maintained, your degree of awareness will have increased.

  • As you learn to separate yourself from what you think and feel, you will be able to choose among more options to interpret, and therefore respond to, situations.

  • Surely this wider range of options will lead you to higher experiences, closer to Love.

GUIDELINES

  • You can write it in a notebook, to be more aware of the process you are going through, as well as to be able to observe your own evolution as you do the practice.

  • If there is no judgment or emotion in reviewing it, it may be time to break free from these patterns, burning the writing with Gratitude for Lifelong Learning.

I wish you the best process in this practice, living a great openness in and towards yourself.
